Just a little mailer job I designed for Rayner, at Mutual Ideas.

Here’s a tee shirt I designed for fashion label Saviour recently. There will be more of my designs produced next season, keep your eyes peeled!
To buy, visit the Saviour Online Store.

The March POS for Rayner was based on the Mad March Hare, and received the title ‘Xtreme Madness’ (based on the brand Xtreme).
Graphics were produced in the style of an old storybook/fairytale, with offers written in rhyme.

The team here at Mutual Ideas recently undertook a huge job for luxury lighting company Besselink and Jones, producing their product brochure. Over 250 images of products were shot and retouched/cut out for the piece which was designed as a case bound A4 Landscape book with a silver foil blocked logo on the front cover. As well as cutting out and retouching a significant number of the product shots, I was also involved in retouching location and illustrative shots for use on title pages within the book.

Rayner Opticians’ Winter 2008 campaign involved a more strategic, promotional solution than before.
Using heavily stylised illustrations, we at Mutual Ideas helped give their stores a bold and unique presence on the high street.

The Bereavement Counselling Service South West requested I design a simple leaflet to advertise to potential patients. My solution involved an image that provokes loneliness and distorted headline type that becomes more clean and calm towards the end of the information.

This is a website I designed for Fitness Solutions. Using the logo I had previously created, I created a fresh brand to update and improve upon their existing single page website.
The site was laid out in Photoshop, then handed over to Spaniq for programming.

October’s title for Illustrated Song Titles was ‘Set it Off‘ by Welsh ragga metallers Skindred.
My entry was based on a typographical idea where the words make up the cable leading from a detonator to a bunch of explosives. I’ve not really gone for the custom typography thing before but this title gave me a great opportunity to experiment. See what you think of the crops, and check out the IST site (link above) to see Reeko and Gallusness’ entries.
This is a tongue-in-cheek reference to a lot of the work you see on the many wonderful design inspiration blogs, just for fun of course!
I dream of being able to do paid jobs which involve crafting nice, arty screen printed tee shirts and posters like this! Even being able to do them for art’s sake would be nice, but the cost of doing a run of prints when the market value/exposure is pretty limited is beyond my means!
Ah well, I’ll keep plugging away on the work I do have and be thankful for it, and in the mean time little bits of fun like this will have to fill the void! Enjoy.
